Diane L. Parsons Bugg has always been active in her church's music ministry even as a child. She grew up in Michigan, but later was led to Bob Jones University, where she received a degree in Children's Ministries and Music. The Lord allowed her to take courses in music composition and later to receive private instruction from Joan Pinkston. Diane feels that since God uses music in her life to help teach her, she should give the music God sends to her in order to help others. "If a song can minister to just one person's heart, it is worth every moment that is spent writing it!" Diane presently leads a children’s choir at her church, Faith Baptist Church, Taylors, South Carolina.
