Born in 1979, Kristi Abram has had a lifelong passion for music. She eagerly began piano lessons when she was eight years old, and in her teens focussed her attention on harp and voice. As a classically trained musician, Kristi did many recitals, competitions, and special events, but her first love remains sacred music. For over ten years, she has shared her music ministry with churches, conferences, and women’s groups. Also a symphony harpist, Kristi received a diploma in harp performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music. She still maintains her first and almost favorite instrument, the piano, by playing for church and friends. Kristi received Jesus as her Savior when she was five years old, and in her early teens dedicated herself wholly to the Lord for His purposes. She considers it a wonderful privilege to glorify Him with the talents He has given her. Without the Lord Jesus, there would be no song to sing, and without the investment of others, there would be no talent! Kristi is very grateful to her parents for the years of lessons, encouragement, and prayer, and to the teachers and talented friends who have inspired and challenged her in her quest for excellence. A resident of Orting, Washington, Kristi teaches music privately and in a Christian school. An aunt seven times, she loves spending time with her wonderful family. Kristi also enjoys people, books, volleyball, scrapbooking, and cats. |
