SINGING
Music is surely a gift from the Lord.
Melody makes the heart sing.
Rich is the harmony in every chord.
There's rhythm in everything.
Surely the birds give full voice to their praise
Of Him who feeds them each day,
And pretty trees would their arms ever raise
As if to seek Him and pray.
Oceans have rhythm when they send the tide
Onto the beaches of sand.
Winds gust or gently blow o'er the world wide,
Sounding like bass in a band.
Surely each Christian will gladly take part,
As he's commanded to do,
Making a melody deep in his heart-
Singing the livelong day through.
